About Windmill Computing
Expert provider of turnkey ID card systems
Windmill Computing is based in Cranleigh near Guildford in Surrey (United Kingdom) and provides turnkey RF ID card systems to businesses, clubs and other organisations. If an "out of the box" system doesn't fit, we put our many years experience in the business into designing a bespoke solution. We specialise in solutions which involve inline magnetic stripe encoding or contactless card programming for cards such as MIFARE Classic and DESFire. We also sell plastic card printers on their own along with all their associated consumables.
Nowadays, perhaps our biggest line of business is RF IDeas, Inc.'s line of proximity card readers and writers, and other associated products. We have acted as a European distributor for RF IDeas since 2004.
Windmill Computing Limited was incorporated in 1996 and initially provided software development resources to companies supplying bespoke and off the shelf ID card systems. In 2003 Windmill Computing became a direct reseller of the Javelin brand of card printers manufactured by NBS Technologies and began selling them to end users. Since then our card printer sales business has grown and we are now an official Javelin distributor who can sell card printers to other value added resellers.
Windmill Computing is committed to protecting our environment and employs five members of staff who all live within 6 miles of the office, and, weather permitting (!) either walk or cycle to work. A copy of our Environmental Policy is available upon request.
Windmill Computing Limited, Producer Registration number WEE/FG1668QY is legally compliant with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations.
Windmill Computing is proud sponsor of the 2012/13 Season Cranleigh Cobras Under 16s Football Team.
