The Javelin Range of Printers from NBS

Windmill Computing Limited is a distributor for the Javelin Range of Printers from NBS. We offer the full current range of printers, consumables and accessories. We sell vivID card, a software package which manages the creation of card designs and printing of batches of cards based on these designs and information from a database. We also offer related services such as support, printer repair (the Hotswap scheme) and the development of bespoke printer-related software, such as applications to encode chips or magnetic stripes while also printing the cards.

End of Life Announcement

Javelin card printers - Javelin J100i, J110i, J110m, J120i, J360i, J330i and J430i will go end-of-life as of 31 December 2010. New orders for these printers may be subject to stock availability; please check with us before ordering. However, all the current range of printers will continue to be fully supported, and consumables will be available, until 1 January 2016.

Choosing a Javelin Printer

Which Javelin printer to choose depends very much on your needs.

For users who print small quantities of cards on an irregular basis, the J100-series printers are most suitable. These include the J100i, J110m, J110i and J120i.

For users who print large quantities of cards on a regular basis, the J300-series printers are most suitable. These include the J330i, J360i and J430i.

Within the J100-series, the J100i is distinguished from the rest by being hand-fed. This makes it most suitable for situations where cards are typically printed singley. The other printers have feeders which allow batches of cards to be loaded.

The J110m is distinguished from the other J100-series printers by being a monochrome-only printer. If you only need to print a low volume in black and white (or some other single colour), this would be the printer for you.

The J330i and J360i are essentially the same printer, except that the J360i has a far more rugged metal case. If you require a printer that has a higher degree of protection against wear, this may be the machine for you.

The J120i and J430i differ from the J110i and J330i respectively in being dual-sided rather than single-sided printers. If you want to be able to print on both sides of your cards in one go, one of these printers is the way to go.
